The Uwah Family Homeschooling: Adventures in Learning with Our Three Little Learners!

Hi there! We're the Uwahs, a homeschooling family with a passion for fostering a love of learning in our three energetic kiddos, all under the age of eight. We've been on this homeschooling journey for over five years now, and it's been an incredible adventure filled with laughter, exploration, and some messy science experiments (don't worry, we've learned a lot about stain removal too!).

When we first started homeschooling we didn't know where to begin. There wasn't many people we knew doing this and we had our doubts. We thought you had to be well educated, needed lots of space and equipment to get started. In reality, you didn't need any of these. We started off in a room, with a pen and paper and some free material online. This was all we needed to get started and 5 years later we're still homeschooling and loving every moment of it.

We started this blog because, honestly, we get asked a LOT about homeschooling. Friends, family, and even strangers at the park seem curious about our approach. It seems there's a fair bit of confusion out there about what homeschooling is and how it works. So, we decided to open the doors to our homeschooling world and share our experiences, tips, and maybe even a few giggles along the way.

We're a team effort here at the Uwahs. Both of us, mum and dad, are actively involved in our children's education. We believe in creating a fun and engaging learning environment that caters to each child's unique interests and learning styles. Whether it's building block castles in the living room or exploring the wonders of nature in our backyard, we turn everyday moments into teachable experiences.

We know homeschooling isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. What works for one family might not work for another. But, through this blog and our discord community, we hope to offer a glimpse into our homeschooling journey, provide valuable resources, and maybe even inspire you to create your own unique learning adventure with your little ones.
